Yes, African safaris are very safe! Safari guides and staff are highly trained to ensure guest safety, understanding and recognizing animal behaviors. Our partners take extreme precautions, respecting the space of wild animals, to provide a secure environment for both guests and wildlife during their safari experiences. However, we must remember that these are wild animals and therefore can react conversely to what we might expect. It is always important to respect this and follow your guide’s instructions at all times.

We don’t leave you there. Throughout your entire trip, you will have direct 24/7 access to our team in both the USA and South Africa, ensuring a stress-free experience from start to finish.

We recommend booking your safari anywhere from six months to a year in advance, to be sure that you are able to secure your preferred accommodations and travel routes, as most lodges have limited accommodations and rooms fill up well in advance. If you are sure of your future travel plans, we can book over a year in advance, however, your international flights will need to be booked at a separate time, as those schedules are only released 11 months in advance. That being said, we are also able to book last minute travel, pending flight and lodge availability, and have done so on many occasions.
