Just outside of bustling Nairobi, is the scenic and game-rich haven of the Nairobi National Park. Here, tucked away within its southern boundary is the boutique Emakoko. This luxurious safari lodge is perfect as an add-on, before or after your journey in Kenya.
Just 10 spacious cottages await; each beautifully furnished and offering a fireplace, sitting area, a lovely ensuite bathroom and a spectacular fourposter bed. Two of the cottages are interlinked, making them ideal for families. In addition to the cottages, small groups can also take advantage of the Private House, which has been built on a clifftop, affording breathtaking views of the park. Here, you can take advantage of a private swimming pool, two ensuite bedrooms, and a dedicated chef for private meals.
We loved unwinding in the main guest areas, which have been thoughtfully designed to offer multiple, quiet places to just sit and enjoy your surrounds. A large crackling fire is the perfect spot to swap stories, pre-dinner, with your fellow guests, while a swimming pool, convivial bar area, and even a pizza oven ensure you are kept busy in between game drives.
