Seychelles
A Luxury Destination
There are over 100 islands that make up Seychelles, but Mahe, Praslin, and a few of the private islands have become our favorites. Mahe is the largest island, housing 86 percent of the population and offers opulent hotels and extensive cuisine. Praslin is also well-populated and is often referred to as a “mini Mahe.” The private islands, on the other hand, are quiet and peaceful making them a perfect romantic getaway.
Travel just a short distance to one of the private islands of Fregate, Desroches, North Island, or Cousine to find the Aldabra, an endangered, giant tortoise once thought to be extinct. Certainly, traveling to Seychelles is considered a luxury experience, but the white sand beaches, clear blue water, and bright green vegetation make for a picture-perfect stay and well worth the price tag.
