A spectacular refuge for endangered species, the award-winning Kwandwe Private Game Reserve consists of 54,000 acres of what was once farmland but is now pristine wilderness, in the heart of South Africa’s Eastern Cape. Here, you will have the opportunity to witness the Big Five as well as a diverse range of wildlife such as hippo, the elusive brown hyena, endangered blue crane, serval, African wildcat and small spotted cat.
Cut in half by the meandering Great Fish River, the reserve is not only bountiful in wild sightings but also in its scenic attractions. Here, you can unwind in one of two luxury lodges or in one of the three, sole-use villas (each individual in character and all offering exceptional hospitality).
