Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls

Referred to locally as the Mosi-Oa-Tunya, “smoke that thunders”, Victoria Falls is one of the world's greatest natural spectacles! Watching, listening and feeling the largest curtain of falling water in the world is truly an experience one won’t forget. And it is at its most dramatic from February to May!!

Known as the ‘Adrenaline Capital of Africa’, this unique corner of Southern Africa has an adventure activity for everyone! Fancy something out of the box? You can fly over the waterfall via helicopter or micro-lite, bungee jump or even gorge swing across Africa's fourth largest river!

At the luxury lodges, relax by the pool or enjoy the in-house wellness spa and gym. Canoeing and fishing excursions are also great adventures. And in the afternoon, cruise the Zambezi or enjoy a game drive in the neighboring reserves.

Hwange National Park | Ngamo Plains

Hwange National Park | Ngamo Plains

At 3.5 million acres the Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe's oldest and largest National Park. It is home to Africa’s second largest population of elephants, estimated to be around 40,000 individuals!

During the summer months, the south-eastern parts of Hwange is without a doubt one of the best game viewing destinations in Africa! Known as the ‘Serengeti of Hwange’ - an area called the Ngamo Plains attracts a diverse amount of game, especially young, to its open nutrient rich grassy plains.

Expect to see blue wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, waterbuck and buffalo. And of course predators like lion, cheetah, wild dogs and leopard move in to take advantage of this bountiful opportunity.

Lake Kariba | Bumi Hills

Lake Kariba | Bumi Hills

Situated on a private concession, with panoramic views overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Kariba, is Africa Bush Camp Bumi Hills Safari Lodge. Lake Kariba is the 4th largest man-made lake in the world - the second in Africa - and the wildlife have freely made its shores their home.

Kariba’s shoreline is rich with wildlife, from wallowing elephants and buffalo to resident prides of lions patrolling the shores. The lodge's close proximity to the wildlife-rich Matusadona National Park also allows animals to roam freely, providing a tranquil and captivating experience in this remote wilderness.

The safari activities at the luxury lodge include guided walking safaris, motorboat cruises, birding and game drives. At the lodge, relax at the sparkling infinity pool overlooking the lake, or chill in the air-conditioning luxury suites with your private view of the lake!

Mana Pools National Park

Mana Pools National Park

PLEASE NOTE* From December to April - Mana Pools is mostly closed due to the rainy season. This is because the soil type makes it difficult to get in and out. Therefore, if this is on your Zimbabwe bucket-list, we highly recommend waiting till mid-April for when the lodges open up again.*

Mana Pools National Park lies in the heart of the Zambezi Valley, positioned on the southern bank of the Zambezi River. Take advantage of the cooler early morning and enjoy big game walking safaris along the Zambezi River banks. Or meander under the shade of the ancient mopane a teak forests searching for grazing buffalo herds, elephant bulls or even a pack of wild dogs. Cruise the Zambezi River on motor-boat or canoe for a fresh safari experience.
