African Bush Camps Migrations Expeditions
Nxai Pan National Park, Botswana
This is one of our favorite properties to witness one of Africa’s secret gems, the dazzling zebra migration.
African Bush Camps’ Migration Expeditions is open from December until the end of March in the awe-inspiring Nxai Pan National Park. Consisting of the Nxai Pan, one of the Makgadikgadi Pan salt flats, this incredible destination attracts thousands of zebra and other herbivores (as well as the predators who follow them) each year.
The camp itself is quaint and charming. With just four canvas tents, set on low decks and adorned with comfortable beds and an ensuite canvas bathroom with bucket showers, and two main tents consisting of the lounge and dining areas, you will feel as though you have the Nxai Pan all to yourself. Evenings are spent around a central firepit, swapping stories of the days’ adventures whilst your days are shared with expert guides on game drives to the salt pans or visiting the nearby (and must-see) Baines Baobabs.
