The lodge is surrounded by an indigenous forest, offering a cool respite from the balmy days of this tropical location. Here, you can choose from three accommodation options with beautiful ocean views. The Casa Familia is great for small groups or families traveling, and offers three ensuite bedrooms, a large deck area and private pool overlooking the beach. Alternatively, choose from the two cozy cabanas (perfect for honeymooners), and a selection of slightly larger casinhas. Both the cabanas and casinhas offer private timber decks, rim-flow pools, sun loungers and private salas.

The guest areas include a rim-flow swimming pool, shaded dining areas in the tropical garden or under-roof, a stunning beach bar that has been created from a traditional wooden dhow, a beautiful Island Shop, and a massage sala.

Why We Love It:

This is the ideal destination to enjoy a range of beach, ocean and island activities. The lodge has its own PADI dive center, which offers certification and refresher courses. Additionally, we loved swimming with the lodge’s horses and going on horseback rides around the island. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a quick helicopter transfer from Vilanculos to the lodge.
