One of our favorite ways to experience the Laikipia Plateau; Elewana’s Loisaba Star Beds is a novel concept that will have you sleeping under a blanket of a million stars whilst still enjoying the convenience of modern amenities nearby.
Each Star Bed suite is perched on a rocky outcrop that affords the most incredible views of the Plateau’s undulating valley and nearby watering hole. Your suite is half thatched, with an expansive, raised wooden platform that plays host to your handcrafted, four-poster wooden bed.
The beds are rolled out each evening (weather permitting) for you to experience the truly awe-inspiring African night sky and multi-colored sunrise. The suite also features a sitting area, wardrobe and safe, and an ensuite bathroom with shower, flush toilet and vanity.
The main areas include a cozy lounge (complete with a log burning fire), a shared dining area as well as private dining area options.
