Undoubtedly one of our favorite eastern Serengeti retreats, this beautiful tented camp is surrounded by rocky hills and shaded by giant acacia trees. 

The lodge boasts canvas walls, cathedral-like tented ceilings, and broad hardwood decks. We love the light, contemporary decor, textured accessories and luxurious furnishings. Be sure to take advantage of the main double-volume area that boasts a comfortable lounge and bar, an outdoor viewing deck that leads to a refreshing swimming pool (perfect to idle away the time in between game viewing adventures), and indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Why We Love It:

Nanyukie is positioned 45-minutes (by scenic game drive) from the Serona Airstrip, which means it is slightly off the beaten track – affording pristine game viewing and a sense of having a piece of the Serengeti all to oneself. The area is known for its high, big cat density, with a well-established predator conservation program in place.

Insider Tip: Five of the tents have extra day beds so triples can be accommodated, and the two-bedroom tent is perfect for families or friends.
