Wilderness King’s Pool
Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, Botswana
Wilderness describes its King’s Pool camp as a “safari fit for royalty”, and we couldn’t agree more. One of our favorites for first-time and repeat Botswana enthusiasts, the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve comprises 311,000 acres of pristine wilderness, bordering the famous Chobe National Park.
The thatch and canvas camp overlooks the scenic King’s Pool lagoon and Linyanti River system, both of which attract an abundance of animal and birdlife.
Here, in one of just seven spacious ensuite rooms, or one family suite, you can unwind amidst luxurious Africa-style furnishings, with blue accents to remind you of the nearby waterways. The sprawling main areas are set on expansive decks and include a pool, lounge, library, dining and bar area.
